Chrissy McHardy

Chrissy McHardy is Canopy Growth’s Senior Vice President, Human Resources, where she leads the company’s global HR function and serves on the Executive Leadership Team.

With more than a decade at Canopy, Chrissy brings a deep understanding of the organization’s people, operations, and culture to her work. She partners closely with leaders across the business to develop talent, support organizational design and structure, and foster a strong, performance-driven, people-first workplace.

Prior to joining Canopy, Chrissy held HR roles at Ontario Public Service, including with the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Community and Social Services, as well as roles at Sitel. Across public and private sector environments, her experience spans strategic HR support, employee relations, and building cultures that enable teams and businesses to perform at their best.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Chrissy is known for her thoughtful, steady leadership and strong connection to Canopy’s people.
